Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 7, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms," "Agreement") govern the services provided by A2Z Home Co, LLC ("A2Z," "we," "us," or "our"), a Texas limited liability company serving the Greater Austin area. By requesting, scheduling, accepting an estimate, or using a2zhomeco.com, you ("you," "client") agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Service & Service Agreement
A2Z is your single point of contact for home services. We coordinate licensed, insured, independent service professionals to perform your work, manage the project on your behalf, and stand behind the results. The professional performing your work is an independent contractor, not an A2Z employee. Trades that require state licensing in Texas — plumbing (TSBPE) and electrical & HVAC (TDLR) — are performed by professionals holding the applicable Texas license; license numbers are available on request. The specific services to be performed and the expected completion timeframe are set out in your estimate, quote, work order, or project agreement.
2. Estimates & Pricing
- Estimates are based on the information you provide and conditions visible at the time of estimate, and are an estimate only — not a guaranteed final price.
- Unless stated otherwise, an estimate is valid for 30 days; after that it may expire or change.
- Prices are based on current material costs and labor rates; significant changes may result in a revised estimate.
- Published prices on our website (such as handyman minimums or flat rates) are starting points for general information and are not a final quote.
- The final price is confirmed before work begins.
3. Acceptance, Contracts & Agreements
By accepting an estimate (in writing, electronically, or by authorizing us to proceed), you authorize A2Z to schedule and begin the work as described. Booking inquiries made through the website are non-binding until a formal estimate or agreement is confirmed. For larger projects, a separate written project agreement will govern the specific scope, schedule, and price.
4. Change Orders & Scope Changes
Any additional materials, work, or changes outside the agreed scope — whether requested by you or recommended by us — require an approved change order and may result in additional charges and a revised timeline. Unforeseen issues discovered after work begins (for example, hidden damage or code requirements) will be presented to you, and we proceed only with your written approval.
5. Schedule & Completion
We schedule arrival windows and notify you when your professional is on the way, and we work to complete services within the timeframe stated in your estimate or agreement. Completion dates are good-faith estimates and may be subject to delays beyond our control — including weather, material availability, permitting, or unforeseen conditions. If additional time is needed, we will work with you to arrange it.
6. Materials & Supplies
Unless your agreement states otherwise, the service professional provides the tools, equipment, and materials needed for the job. If unforeseen materials are required, we will inform you, and you may approve or deny the additional purchase before we proceed.
7. Invoices & Payment
- Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. A deposit may be required on larger projects.
- We accept card, bank transfer (ACH), and other stated methods.
- Past-due balances may incur reasonable late fees.
- Prices are exclusive of any applicable Texas sales tax, which is added where the law requires.
8. Warranties & Guarantees
All services are performed professionally and to industry standards. We warrant the workmanship of completed services for one (1) year from completion; report any concern promptly and we will remedy covered workmanship issues at no additional labor cost. Manufacturer warranties on installed products are passed through to you where applicable. The warranty excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, customer-supplied materials, pre-existing conditions, and work performed by others.
9. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the work and your property.
- Provide safe, clear access to the work area at the scheduled time.
- Secure pets, children, and valuables, and disclose known hazards (e.g., wiring, leaks, pests, hazardous materials).
- Obtain any required HOA approvals. Permits are pulled by the performing professional where required by law.
10. Safety Requirements
For everyone's safety, please keep the work area accessible and free of hazards, keep children and pets away from active work zones, and allow our professionals to follow applicable safety codes and manufacturer specifications. We reserve the right to pause or reschedule work if a site is unsafe.
11. Insurance & Liability
The independent professionals we coordinate carry their own insurance, including general liability and, where applicable, workers' compensation. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, latent defects, code-upgrade requirements uncovered during work, or matters outside the agreed scope. To the maximum extent permitted by law, A2Z's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service at issue, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms waives any rights you have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act (DTPA) or other consumer-protection law.
12. Cancellations & Your Right to Cancel
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment; short-notice cancellations or missed appointments may incur a trip fee. Deposits for larger projects may be non-refundable to the extent of materials ordered or work performed.
13. Communications (Calls & Texts)
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive calls and text messages from A2Z (including via automated technology) about your request, appointments, and our services. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
